SPORT KARATE COALITION

Sport Karate Coalition was founded in 2002, originally known as School of Masters.

Our mission is to popularise and promote karate as a sport by sharing our knowledge whilst maintaining the core traditional values of shotokan karate.

We develop multiple medalist athletes in all categories: children, juniors, cadets, seniors and veterans. This is achieved through a high level of training which promotes our SKC athletes to continuously grow, both mentally and physically, overall encouraging our athletes to reach their highest potential.

Our karate training sessions are divided by age and abilities. Sessions for younger students focus on fun and games which include elements of karate in order to create a new found passion for karate. Sessions for older students focus on including new and advanced elements of karate whilst polishing, adapting and understanding the basic fundamental techniques. Regardless of the age of our students and their status: beginner or advanced, we always focus on discipline, knowledge, and respect, both inside and outside of the dojo.

We not only focus on karate training sessions but attending, organising and hosting other events to encourage our students to grow in every way possible. This includes attending World, European and National Championships, organising Internal Leagues, Samurai Competitions, both Summer and Winter Camps, Kata, Kumite and Dan Seminars as well as many more events for our karate community.

Sport Karate Coalition are affiliates of WUKF. All our instructors are DBS checked and have safeguarding qualifications.
